WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Damien Priest (c) vs Gunther Odds & Picks
- Damian Priest (+300)
- Gunther (-500)
Even though Damian Priest is the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, it’s Gunther who’s the -500 odds-on favorite this weekend. The “Ring General” won the King of the Ring tournament earlier this year, earning him a world title match this weekend. Priest has done a terrific job at establishing himself as a main-event talent throughout his reign, however, a lot of people think it’s time for Gunther to reach the top of the mountain.
But even with the odds being the way that they are, I won’t be shocked if Priest finds a way to retain. Yes, the Judgement Day looks like it’s on its way to crumbling, however, I also think it’s a bad look if the champion loses after Gunther has been making fun of his upbringing for weeks now. Who knows? Maybe it’ll be Ludwig Kaiser who turns on Gunther, allowing Priest to escape with the win.
Either way, I like the value that comes with an upset here.
Priest vs. Gunther prediction: Damien Priest (+300)
WWE Women’s Championship: Bayley (c) vs Nia Jax Odds & Picks
- Bayley (+130)
- Nia Jax (-170)
I think Bayley is a tremendous talent who’s one of the best women’s wrestlers ever. At the same time, I’m not shy to admit that her title reign hasn’t been that great since WrestleMania, and it might be high time for her to drop the gold. Nia Jax has also succeeded at improving in the ring since her WWE return and I’m intrigued to see how she’d fair as the champion at this stage of her area.
Since there’s a chance that the King of the Ring will leave Cleveland without a title, I see the Queen of the Ring winning gold tomorrow.
Bayley vs. Nia Jax prediction: Nia Jax (-170)
WWE Women’s World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs Rhea Ripley Odds & Picks
- Liv Morgan (-600)
- Rhea Ripley (+350)
WWE fans have been waiting months for Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley to finally collide in the ring and that’ll finally happen at SummerSlam. The two rivals have been feuding over “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio for quite some time, making this matchup about more than just a title.
With that being said, I don’t see Morgan losing here. Not only does this rivalry still have legs, but I think we’re going to see some of the Judgement Day firmly siding with the champion this weekend. Whether it’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh kicking Ripley to the curb or Mysterio revealing that he was in love with Morgan this whole time, I don’t see things ending well for the challenger.
Morgan vs. Ripley prediction: Liv Morgan (-600)

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs Solo Sikoa Odds & Picks
- Cody Rhodes (-5000)
- Solo Sikoa (+1200)
As you can tell by the odds, oddsmakers don’t expect the Undisputed WWE Championship to change hands this weekend. Cody Rhodes’ -5000 odds to successfully retain his belt against Solo Sikoa carry an implied probability of 98.0%.
For as much as Sikoa has improved, he isn’t ready yet to hold a world title. His odds of winning on Saturday drop even more when you consider the potential return of Roman Reigns, who’ll be out for blood after being nothing but disrespected by his cousin’s new version of the Bloodline
Barring a shocking twist, Rhodes isn’t losing in Cleveland.
Rhodes vs. Sikoa prediction: Cody Rhodes (-5000)
WWE United States Championship: Logan Paul (c) vs LA Knight Odds & Picks
- Logan Paul (+275)
- LA Knight (-450)
It’s finally time for Logan Paul to drop the WWE United States Championship this weekend. Ignoring his endless stream of controversies outside of the ring, Paul hasn’t done much since winning the gold. In fact, he only has two title defenses since becoming the U.S. Champion at WWE Crown Jewel back in November.
Meanwhile, LA Knight has been busting his butt off for the last few years since joining the WWE, drawing some of the loudest reactions anywhere he goes. It’s important to strike while the iron is hot, which is why Knight is the no-brainer pick this weekend — especially when you consider that he’ll actually be around to defend the belt.
Knight vs. Paul prediction: LA Knight (-450)
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Sami Zayn (c) vs Bron Breakker Odds & Picks
- Sami Zayn (+1200)
- Bron Breakker (-5000)
For the second straight Premium Live Event, Sami Zayn will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker. The two previously met last month at Money in the Bank as Zayn escaped with the win following a competitive 13-minute bout.
Having said that, I doubt WWE would give Breakker an immediate rematch if they don’t intend on him winning the IC title. He’s about to be one of the business’ biggest stars for the next decade-plus and defeating an established talent like Zayn could help him reach that next level of superstardom. The champion has done a good job with his reign thus far, however, all good things must come to an end.
Zayn vs. Breakker prediction: Bron Breakker (-5000)

CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre Odds & Picks
- CM Punk (+135)
- Drew McIntyre (-175)
Even though this is the only WWE SummerSlam matchup without a title on the line, it might be the one that fans are looking to the most. CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been feuding since January and it’s finally going to come to a head now that the former is medically cleared to wrestle. The upcoming showdown’s stakes were only upped after Seth Rollins was named as the special guest referee last week.
At the end of the day, I see McIntyre winning this match. For starters, Punk has been getting the better of him for months, screwing him over multiple times — including most recently at Money in the Bank. We also know that Rollins is angry at Punk, too, because the latter’s actions last month also cost the former a world title match. It wouldn’t be surprising if the “Visionary” has some revenge planned for the supposed “Best in the World.”
I predict that Rollins will cost Punk the match, allowing McIntyre to return to the world title scene as the pair engage in a blood-filled rivalry of their own.
Punk vs. McIntyre prediction: Drew McIntyre (-175)
