3 Best UFC Vegas 96 Main Card Bets
1. Tabatha Ricci via points (+125)
The forthcoming clash between Angela Hill and Tabatha Ricci could result in either fighter’s victory. However, I am leaning towards Ricci emerging victorious based on points. Hill, who is approaching her 40th birthday in a few months, must contend with an adversary a decade her junior. Furthermore, BetOnline predicts that this match will last the full distance (-450), an unfavorable scenario for Hill, considering her recent record of 4-5 in the last nine matches that reached the round limit.
Given Ricci’s impressive 5-1 record in matches that go the distance since she joined the UFC, I anticipate the judges in Vegas will favor her once again.
2. Ryan Loder vs. Robert Valentin u2.5 Rounds (-155)
As Ryan Loder and Robert Valentin gear up to determine the winner of the Ultimate Fighter 32 middleweight tournament, I predict a swift match. Considering that Loder and Valentin have collectively achieved 13 finishes in 21 fights, it’s reasonable to expect an early finish. Both middleweights will undoubtedly be striving for the win, so an early attempt to end the fight wouldn’t come as a surprise.
Furthermore, in Loder’s seven career matches, four of them finished in less than 2.5 rounds. Similarly, 11 of Valentin’s 14 fights also ended in under 2.5 rounds.
3. Neil Magny vs. Michael Morales Won’t Go the Distance (+125)
Neil Magny and Michael Morales are set to clash in a powerful welterweight match at UFC Vegas 96. However, there is a likelihood that the bout may not run its full course of three rounds. This is borne out by the fact that four out of six of Magny’s recent fights have ended prematurely, and 12 out of 16 of Morales’ fights have not gone the full distance. Morales’ fights typically last around 12:03 minutes on average, slightly less than Magny’s average fight duration of 12:44 minutes.
Given that Morales, who is the clear favorite, has an impressive finish rate of 75.0%, I simply can’t envision this fight lasting the full length.
