Soto and Red’s pitcher Frankie Montas have never faced off but Montas has struggled against lefties this year. He’s allowing lefties to hit 0.258 with 6 of the 8 home runs he’s allowed coming against left handed bats.
We’ve got a day game on the docket in New York City, and Soto’s lived for the afternoon games this season. He’s 0.306 during the day with a 0.537 SLG. He’s 1/6 so far in this series with the Reds and today’s looking the perfect day for some fireworks…
