As the final games of the NFL Preseason action, of course we are diving into who’s playing and who isn’t. As for the Tennessee Titans, we should see their starters for at least a couple of series, with Malik Willis and Mason Rudolph able to guide the offense once Levis sits down. According to some Saints insiders, most of their starters will not play in this preseason finale.
New Orleans will likely give young QBs Jake Haener and Spencer Rattler an even amount of time on the field. Along with Derek Carr, a “significant number of starters” will sit with him in preparation for the regular season. As juvenile as it sounds, I have no problem backing a bunch of NFL starters facing a bunch of NFL backups and 3rd stringers. With some push potential on the board as well, I expect the Titans to come out scoring in NOLA tonight.
Arizona Cardinals vs Denver Broncos Best Bets

As it is very likely we do not see any starters on either side of the ball, we will be backing some points. The offenses should be playing like their spot on the team depends on it, because it likely does. Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson are still battling to be Nix’s back up, and at home against the Cardinals’ defensive backups, I could see them putting points on the board. As for Arizona, we won’t see Kyler Murray, but Desmond Ridder and Clayton Tune have been moving the ball plenty on offense this preseason.
As both defenses aren’t going to be too great with their starters, I doubt their backups put up much of a fight. I think this game is going to be very sloppy, with some missed tackles and chunk plays for these mediocre offenses. However, it should be just nasty enough to go over 35 total points.
New England Patriots vs Washington Commanders Best Bets
Drake Maye and the Patriots take on the Commanders tonight

Taking the under in this game as the Commanders will not use Jayden Daniels at all. However, the Patriots are starting Jacoby Brisett, followed by Drake Maye and company. Simply put, I do not trust either team to move the ball in this preseason finale. The Patriots are known for being able to keep teams out of the end zone, even if they don’t get their themselves. As for the Commanders, without Daniels running the show, I see them struggling heavily against the Patriots defense.
Neither offense is that great to begin with, but throw in the fact that the Commanders rookie starter won’t be playing majorly impacts their ability to move in the ball in bunches and score points. As for the Patriots, this is not an offense I want to back at all this season, even against a bad Washington team. This total seems too high for my liking, and I’ll back the under tonight.
