Nearly every South African footballer dreams of playing their sport internationally, be it in Europe, North America, or North Africa.
However, not all players will attain the level where international clubs are eagerly seeking their signature.
In some instances, the player possesses more than enough skill to succeed internationally, but due to circumstances beyond their control, a transfer never comes to fruition.

Nonetheless, the truth remains that living away from home, loved ones, and familiar environments is not easy to manage and numerous individuals end up returning prematurely.
Mamelodi Sundowns’ Themba Zwane recently revealed that he was ‘surprised’ by teammate Kobamelo Kodisang’s return to the Premier Soccer League.
Kodisang seemed to be enjoying a successful career in Portugal’s top flight with Moreirense, but chose to end his tenure prematurely.
