Canadiens' 2024 NHL Draft Documentary to premiere Thursday
The mini-movie showcasing behind-the-scenes will debut on multiple platforms at 7:00 p.m. ET on Aug. 22.
MONTREAL – Prepare your popcorn, as the much-anticipated Habs viewing event of the summer is nearly upon us.
The Canadiens will premiere the team’s 2024 NHL Draft Documentary on Thursday, August 22 at 7:00 p.m. ET on YouTube, Facebook and X.
The premiere of the 27-minute program will be a real-time event, giving fans the opportunity to watch it together online. Additionally, YouTube will offer an interactive chat for viewers to share their live reactions. The excitement will be unveiled as the program airs for the first time.
This year’s documentary provides fans an in-depth look into the action, featuring exclusive entry to scouting meetings, frank interviews with pre-draft prospects—including a lively exchange with Ivan Demidov, the fifth-overall pick—and the touching moment when Michael Hage was chosen at Sphere, among other things. Additionally, firsthand knowledge from the team management unveils strategies behind pre-draft routines, draft choices, and the principles for constructing a successful organization.
