Veteran WR Randall Cobb, family escape house fire in Nashville
Veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb said in an Instagram post on Wednesday evening that he and his family recently escaped a fire in their Nashville, Tennessee, home.
Cobb posted photos and videos showing the aftermath of the fire, expressing gratitude by writing, “We are thankful for our amazing Nashville community, and the support from our dear friends who have provided us with temporary shelter and a shoulder to lean on.”
Cobb penned that he, his wife Aiyda, and their three sons managed to flee from the fire before reentering their home to rescue their dog, Louie. The wide receiver expressed his gratitude to the Nashville Fire Department for their quick response.

Cobb, 33, is currently a free agent after spending the 2023 season with his longtime quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets. In 11 games, Cobb caught five passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. He has spent 10 of his 13 seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
