  • Tom Pelissero, NFL Network Insider, reported that OL Bayron Matos, a former basketball player for Southern Florida who has never played football, is set to visit the Bengals for a pre-draft meeting on Tuesday.

Cleveland Browns

RETIREMENTS

  • WR Rashard Higgins will sign a one-day contract on Tuesday and retire as a member of the Browns, the team announced.
  • LB Christian Kirksey will sign a one-day contract on Tuesday and retire as a member of the Browns, the team announced.

INJURIES

  • QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) told reporters he is “throwing full speed,” per Zac Jackson of The Athletic. Watson also said the plan is he will participate in OTAs at some level, but the focus is training camp.
  • RB Nick Chubb, who suffered a significant knee injury during the 2023 season, is “attacking his rehab every day,” per head coach Kevin Stefanski.
  • RB Nyheim Hines (torn ACL) is still rehabbing, and the team is “not sure” when he will be ready to practice, per Stefanski.

  • LT Taylor Decker told reporters on Tuesday that he had to have foot and ankle surgery during the offseason and that he started working out again in February. “I feel really good, and I am happy with my decision that I wanted to go get a surgery,” Decker said.
