  • DL Sam Williams suffered a torn ACL at practice Sunday, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported. The team later announced Williams also tore his MCL and will be placed on season-ending injured reserve.
  • CB Trevon Diggs (knee) is looking good upon his return, but the team is taking extra caution by keeping him on the physically unable to perform list, head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters.

RETIREMENTS

  • CB Gareon Conley, a 2017 first-round pick of the Raiders, notified the Cowboys that he would be retiring. Conley’s decision led to the team releasing him on Sunday.

  • QB Matthew Stafford agreed to terms on his adjusted contract, which will see him earn an addition $9 million over the next two seasons, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
