- The team announced the addition of four assistant coaches: Mark DeLeone (inside linebackers coach), Dennis Johnson (defensive line coach), Doug Mallory (defensive backs coach) and Travelle Wharton (assistant offensive line coach).
CONTRACT RESTRUCTURES
- OL Connor McGovern had a conversion done to his contract, guaranteeing his deal for 2024 and clearing $3.74 of cap space, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported.

SIGNINGS
- WR Tee Higgins has officially had the franchise tag applied, the team announced. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport initially reported Cincinnati was expected to apply the tag to Higgins on Friday. “Tee has done an outstanding job for us since we drafted him in 2020,” Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said in a team statement. “I’m glad that he’ll continue to be a big part of our offense and our team.”
SIGNINGS
- LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin has agreed to a two-year, $7.5 million contract extension worth a max of $8 million, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported, per his agent. Reeves-Maybin also gets $5.245 million guaranteed and a $2.5 million signing bonus, which are both records for a special teams player, per Garafolo.
CONTRACT RESTRUCTURES
- LB Rashan Gary‘s contract was restructured to clear $4.78 million in cap space, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported.
COACHING NEWS
- The team announced the following additions to its coaching staff: Justin Hamilton, assistant defensive backs coach; Mike Minnis, director of sports performance; Charlie Partridge, defensive line coach; and Alex Tanney, passing game coordinator.
INJURIES
- DE Charles Omenihu, who went surgery to repair his torn ACL on Tuesday, said he was “doing pretty good” post procedure on Monday’s Good Morning Football. He added it was a “day-by-day process.”

INJURIES
- QB Kirk Cousins, who is recovering from surgery to repair a torn Achilles suffered last season, posted video on social media in which he was dropping back and throwing on an indoor tennis court. Cousins captioned that he was “encouraged by the process.”
