Packers Draft Notes Since 2018

– 61 total players drafted

Pro Bowlers selected include CB Jaire Alexander and G Elgton Jenkins, totaling 2.

Traded in the 1st round in five out of six drafts.

Chose Jordan Love as the 26th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft for the QB position, who became a full-time starter in 2023.

During the Gutekunst era, the Packers utilized 8 first-round picks, out of which 7 were for defense.

Jordan Love, a quarterback who was selected No. 26 overall in 2020, is the only offensive player taken.

In the 2023 offseason, Gutekunst traded QB Aaron Rodgers to the Jets and in the 2022 offseason, he traded WR Davante Adams to the Raiders.

Rodgers spent 18 seasons with Green Bay from 2005 to 2022. He is a four-time Associated Press NFL MVP and won the Super Bowl XLV, where he was also named MVP.

Adams is second in Packers history with 669 receptions.

Jordan Love, the 1st Round pick in 2020, only had one career start from 2020-2022 before becoming the full-time starting QB in 2023.

In 2023, Love had 32 touchdown passes, ranking second in the NFL.

GB won the Wild Card Round at DAL, thanks to Love’s stellar performance. He threw for 272 yards and 3 touchdowns, achieving a passer rating of 157.2.

The Packers haven’t selected a wide receiver in the 1st round of the draft since 2002, when they chose Javon Walker as the 20th overall pick.

In the last two drafts, a wide receiver was selected in the 2nd round: Christian Watson (34th overall in 2022) and Jayden Reed (50th overall in 2023).

GB has chosen 6 wide receivers in the last two drafts (2022-23).

Gutekunst has selected a top 2 round pick for all offensive and defensive position groups, with the exception of offensive tackle.
