Celebrations for 2024 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light kick off April 25 in Detroit

NEW YORK — The NFL has unveiled the schedule for the first day of the 2024 NFL Draft, sponsored by Bud Light. The event will kick off on Thursday, April 25, in Detroit.

The celebrations will begin with the prospective attendees walking down the NFL Draft Red Carpet, sponsored by Toyota, at the famed Fox Theater. The NFL Draft Red Carpet event is set to start around 5:20 P.M. ET. Segments of the event will be broadcasted on NFL Network’s NFL Draft Kickoff show. During the event, Kaylee Hartung will be interviewing prospects as they embark on their professional journey.

Throughout the Draft, the league will highlight the city’s lively music scene. Detroit artist Angela Davis will kick off the first day by performing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” live on the Draft Theater stage.

Caleb Carroll, a Detroit native and beloved performer at Detroit Lions games, will perform the national anthem from the Draft Theater stage. The Military District of Washington’s Joint Armed Forces Color Guard will display the Nation’s Colors for this performance, while the Michigan Air National Guard will conclude the anthem with a flyover.

At the Draft Theater, NFL Network’s Colleen Wolfe and Michael Robinson will spearhead activities for the first night of the three-day event. Additionally, the Draft Theater will host the Inner Circle, sponsored by Courtyard by Marriott. Here, dedicated fans from each team will fervently support their respective clubs.

Every day of the event, the NFL will provide free concerts in the Draft Theater, a part of the NFL Draft Concert Series sponsored by Bud Light. Concerts are scheduled to occur before picks begin on Thursday and Friday, showcasing local artists. Additionally, a post-Draft Drone Show and a tribute to Detroit music will occur on Friday night. The event will conclude with a post-Draft performance on Saturday. The NFL Draft Concert Series, sponsored by Bud Light, will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with only standing room available. The headliners will be revealed at a future date.

Recently, the league announced that the NFL Draft Experience, sponsored by Rocket Mortgage and considered the NFL’s top fan festival, will be accessible to the public for free from April 25-27. Hart Plaza is set to host the Draft Experience, which will feature games, exhibits, player appearances, and sponsor experiences. The NFL Play Football field at the Corner Ballpark, sponsored by StatusPRO, will host activities focused on young people, such as NFL FLAG skills and drills and football clinics.
